About Us

It all started when…

Trinity Medical Centre came to fruition on the 9th of May 2011, when we saw the need for more doctors due to Wagga’s growing population. Our doctors are passionate about rural health and aim to ease the burden rural locals face to attain quality healthcare, such as; long waiting lists and needing to travel to Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra for their treatment. As a full accredited practice (accredited by Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited), you can expect clean and sterile equipment, the safest security measures to protect your medical records, and you can rest assured knowing that we meet the standards of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). We are a family practice, catering for the needs of everyone. We offer general check ups, vaccinations, chronic disease management, skin checks and more. To reduce travel costs for our patients, we also have a pathology collection centre on site, as well as a dietician on our team.

Our facilities are child friendly (with a special play corner and a wall mounted baby changing table in the toilets) and have disability access (parking ramp and disabled toilets).

Trinity Medical Centre in a teaching practice

We know the value of education and for that reason, we have made our practice a teaching practice. Here, we aid in the education of the coming generations of doctors by providing opportunities for GP Registrars to work with us.

We are also associated with both the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and the University of Notre Dame's medical programs by offering placement opportunities for medical students.

To encourage medical students to practice rurally, we have opened our practice for scholars from the John Flynn Placement Program to complete their placements with us.

Teaching is a comprehensive journey that cannot be completed without the cooperation and enthusiasm of our wonderful patients. Our aim is to teach and ignite a passion for rural practice in the registrars and students we teach.
